History Of Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse is a famous cartoon character of a talking mouse. It is owned by The Walt Disney Company and has a very strong franchise for the company, its theme parks and other merchandise opportunities. Mickey Mouse is very unique among cartoon characters, it has large and round black ears, a pointed nose and wears red shorts with white buttons and yellow boots. The outline of Mickey’s ears and nose are basically the logo of Walt Disney.
The origin of Mickey Mouse is not very clear. There have been different stories to suit the urge of publishers, copyright holders and those looking for a mystery. All the parties owing its creation have passed away and the real truth may never be known. Walt Disney Company claims that Walt Disney, the founder of the company had created the character himself.
Disney recalled that he drew pictures of a cartoon mouse and his best friend Ub Iwerks reworked the pictures into a form that would make the character quick to draw. The voice, attitude and personality of Mickey Mouse were provided by Walt. Many described him as the real father and rightful designer of Mickey Mouse.
A contradictory story claimed that the mouse character was originally drawn by Hugh Harman around a photo of Walt Disney in 1925. These were later used as ideas for a new character when Disney separated from Universal Studios. He was contracted to provide shorts on the character named Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. He asked his friend Ub Iwerk to come up with ideas which included dogs, frogs, cows, cats and horses.
Iwerks was nearly at his wits end when he remembered Harman’s sketches of mouse around photo of Walt and agreed. They agreed to it and they envisioned the mouse being like a human. They had named their character as Mortimer Mouse.
Mortimer had struggled for its identity, Walt’s wife was convinced that the name was snobby and would not match with the character’s audience appeal. Disney wanted his new character to be cute and lovable for children. Walt credited part of the personality of Mickey Mouse to Charlie Chaplin in a later interview. Mickey Rooney stated that revealed to choose the name Mickey after seeing the character of Mickey McGuire which was played by Mickey Rooney in the early 1920s.
The first Mickey Mouse short entitled Plane Crazy was ready for distribution by May 1928 but it was not successful in finding a distributor. A second short named The Gallopin’ Gaucho was filmed and introduced a previously shown character called Pegleg Pete. This also failed to find a distributor. It was however an unusual production.
Steamboat Willie was the first Mickey Mouse animated short that was successful to find a distributor. It was released in November 1928. It proved to be a quick hit and the audiences loved the use of music and sound effects to add humor to the production. It encouraged Disney to adopt sounds in tits animations and included Mickey’s first spoken words in the production of The Karnival Kid in 1929.
There was a minor change in the appearance of Mickey and Minnie in late 1929. By the early 1930s, Mickey Mouse had left behind ‘Felix the Cat’ and Mortimer Mouse had been introduced as Minnie’s rancher uncle.
A new animator at the Disney Company redesigned Mickey Mouse in 1935. In 1978, the 50th anniversary of Mickey Mouse first short film being produced and distributed. Mickey was also awarded a star on Hollywood Boulevard and was the first cartoon character to receive a star.
The Walt Disney Company was successfully operating Mickey Mouse Clubs in cinemas across the US and claiming over a million members. The members also received coloring books and badges. By the mid of 1930s, the administrative costs for managing these proved to be uneconomic and they were closed down. However the Mickey Mouse Club was revived again in 1955 through 1959 as a television series.
The Mickey Mouse Club was aired in the 1970s and again in the 1990s, many famous pop celebrities like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears got their first broadcasting role as cast members of the revived show. A new format show named the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse began airing in 2006 and was aimed at preschoolers.

Living in Japan Condominiums
The rich history and culture of the archipelago is enhanced by an exciting urban lifestyle and unusual natural beauty. This much sought-after tourist destination has a pleasant and diverse climate. The country boasts a variety of historical attractions. Guests of Japan’s vacation rental properties are sure to love their experience in this marvelous travelers’ paradise.
Dwellers in Japan’s fabulous condos will experience the rich samurai culture that shaped the island nation’s history. Ancient theatrical and other art forms are still alive and well. Any visitor interested in the culture of the country should pay a visit to Tokyo’s famous museums.
The biological, historic and geographic majesty of Japan is well-known. The eye-catching image of the snow-clad Mount Fuji is an internationally recognized symbol for unspoiled natural beauty. The niceties available to tourists to Japanese vacation homes are numerous – there are hot springs, ice drift cruises, lush forests, and attractive campsites.
Japan is a well-developed nation judged by any standard, and despite its celebrated natural attractions, this favorite tourist destination has many sophisticated urban and manmade attractions for potential tourists. Guests of the country’s holiday rentals can drive or travel by the famous underground to destinations such as, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival grounds, Disneyland, and feudal castles.
A condo is a form of house ownership in which separate units of a larger building complex are sold, not rented. There is a lot of misunderstanding about the word ‘condominium.’ It actually does not refer to the type of unit itself, but the term applies to the legal ownership arrangement. Any multi-unit structure can act as a ‘condominium’. The earlier occupants should either vacate the building or purchase their units outright.
The owner of a condominium technically owns everything within their inner walls. The individual homeowners possess shared rights to the most common areas such as the elevators, corridors, club houses and pools. The proper maintenance of these common areas is the responsibility of a condominium association. Home owners own a share of interest in the association. They have to pay monthly dues and special maintenance fees for major problems.
Tokyo’s inner-city waterfront is greatly changed by the construction of huge structures in the post-industrial era. The number of new buildings in the Shinagawa area alone has gene over 12,000 units in ten locations in the past two and a half years.
If you would like to reserve room in one of the condos or Japan Villas, numerous service minded travel agents are out there to guide you. They are available immediately for short and long-term rental. Japanese condos come with all usual attractions and amenities. You will definitely love the spaciousness and cleanliness of Japanese buildings.
Many condos come with full kitchen, quality furnishings, hot-springs bathroom, Cable TV, DVD, VCR, CD Player, beach and picnic gear, air conditioning, and much more. Other amenities include kitchen, iron, blender, mixer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave ovens, cookware and utensils, spices, condiments and heaps of dinner and glassware.
Japanese condos offer all the comforts of your home while you’re away from it. The stay in a Japanese vacation rental would be an unforgettable experience. If you are positive on renting a condo, take your time to study the pros and cons of the purchase.
The largest buyers of condos include REITs and privately owned real estate funds. They usually convert originally built-for-sale condos to rental ones. Many individual buyers also put their newly purchased condos on the rental market. The coming up of large number of buildings is likely to put a downward pressure on rents. The price of a condo house can be much lower than a single-structure home.
A condo is not the best option for all potential homeowners. There is a noticeable lack of privacy in the common areas. If you are particular about having all of your amenities and maintain your own lawn and garden, then you are advised to follow single home ownership options in place of a condo. They can be more difficult to sell as opposed to a single home with some acreage. Condo owners own their units only, not the land beneath the structure. Veteran apartment renters who don’t mind the presence of close neighbors benefit the most from condo living.

What was your worst reason for breaking up with someone?
I recall one Seinfeld episode where Jerry broke up with a lady because she liked a particular TV show….LOL. Jerry and George used to come up with someone goofy reasons to break up!
Seriously though, the reason I am thinking of not seeing someone anymore is because I find her boring. Of course, I should help her get out of this rut but she seems too reserved.
What were some of your reasons?
Thanks.
Me and my boy had a conversation similar to this. We both understand that our relationship has a real low chance of actually lasting throughout highschool (we’re sophomores next year) and we both know that there’re possibilities of us to stop loving each other eventually, as much as we love each other now.
Anyways, the conversation sort of went like this. “I don’t think I’d break up with you unless you got boring or annoying or cheated on me. xD” ‘Haha, I wouldn’t cheat on you. I don’t think you’d ever get boring anyway.’ “Mm, you never know.. you could get boring too, you know. >D” ‘Pshh, yeah right.
’
We were just joking around, although a tad serious. We both knew that, too..
But yes, many, MANY couples break up due to finding their partner being boring. It’s understandable, although you should warn your girl before you do it.
As for my worst reason.. I was stupid and I believed some of the stupidest rumors about my past boyfriend and broke up with him because I thought they were true. :[ But that was when I was.. younger.. so.. yeah it’s.. not surprising. XD

thanks! Other ideas can be submitted too!
Those were “Dream Fastpasses”, they were one of the prizes given away during the Year of a Million Dreams promotion. This ended on 12/31/2008. Starting 1/1/2009, in conjunction with this year’s What will you celebrate promotion, they do have Birthday Fastpasses. These are for guests who either have a Multi-Day or Annual Passport, and select these as an alternate gift instead of the free entry. If you get these, it depends on the day as to how many and which attractions you get them for.
On top of these they do have regular FastPasses. This is a free service where you use your regular Park Ticket to hold your place in line on select rides. On rides that have it you use your park ticket and get a return time for later in the day, where you can skip the regular line and have a minimal wait.
