How to Find Great Deals at the Disney Store
Secret shoppers are so interesting. It’s a profession anyone would love to have. Many girls and women love to shop. A favorite family stop in the mall is generally the Disney Store. Whether you are going to Disney Land, Disney World, on a Disney Cruise, or are just having a fun princess or Mickey Mouse party, the Disney store is a fun place to look around and buy interesting things that you don’t see every day at your local discount store or online.
Tough financial times, however, require many stores to lower their prices. While previously, some guests of the Disney Store found it to be too pricey, things are beginning to change! This store used to have a bad reputation for high prices, but they often have $5 sales to off set the other bigger items in the store that might cost more. The best time to shop at the Disney Store is after a season when they are clearance out their old inventory. The worst time to shop there is Halloween and Christmas when costumes and other items are in high demand. However, the day after Thanksgiving is the one day when you may find very deep sales and discounts there. If you have time to stop by, it is always worth it. Last year they had large stuffed Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Jasmine dolls on sale for $5 each!
Girls favorite items at the Disney Store can range from sleepwear to princess costumes and accessories. Gracing every wall from ceiling to floor you will find elegant and stunning Ariel and Belle costumes with every stuffed animal and accessory imaginable like wands, tiaras and dress up shoes. Prices range from $20 to $50 and it is really nice that they have different sizes to fit girls 2T all the way up to 8. Of course, there’s always the princess dishes and other clothing like t-shirts and shorts.
Many times boys like Mickey Mouse or Cars. Whether it’s swimming trunks, model cars, or die cast vehicles, your little boy could go crazy in this fun toy store! Some little boys like to go in and try on the fun costumes for Halloween or just for every day dress up play. Mickey swim trunks, sunglasses, and matching beach towels are also fun and inexpensive if you find them directly after a season is over.
Don’t leave out the adults! Many adults like to go to this store in the mall to find adult costumes, accessories, DVD’s and fun collectibles.
Of course, before your family’s next trip to Disney Land, stock up at the Disney Store before you go because once you get there, the prices are astronomical, but it is so fun to dress up as your favorite character like the princesses or Mickey Mouse. Kmart sometimes has princess and Disney t-shirts and clothes for less expensice prices than the D.Store itself.
As an alternative to the Disney Store costumes, try Little Adventures dresses. They are a little more simple, but they are machine washable and come in bigger sizes all the way from 2T to adult. With a fullness slip, they are the perfect dress to pack in the Disneyland suitcase!

Visas & Marriage?
Hello to all. This is my first question here.
My fiancee & I are planning on getting married. She lives in Rio De Janeiro, Brasil & I live in Florida. We’ve been together for 4 years & have decided that it would be best for us to marry here & live here for a while.
She currently has a B1/B2 visa which is good for business & for tourism purposes. We’re looking into a Fiancee’s visa where she would go through an approval process of 6 to 12 months and after being approved she’d move here & we’d have 30 days to get married.
Basically my question is to those who are familiar with the visas…. Would it be easier/better/legal for her to just come here on her current visa & we get married? Or would it be better/easier for us to go ahead with the fiancee’s visa?
Any information anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Easier to come here on her present Visa and get married…I did that with my wife, who is from Colombia…everything went smoothly when I filled for her Adjustment of Status of Alien Relative…she got her work permit and everything without any problems…

Orlando Question – HELP ME!!!?
I have been to disneyworld once at christmas. it was really great and hot and dry, but they said it was like a record year for temperatures and dryness. I am wondering what is the best time to go (considering precipitation (i really hate rain), queuing at rides (when is it quietest?), and, not so importantly, temperatures. I am thinking either mid-end october or mid-december????? thanks for any answers
mid-late december would be the worst for wait times as the last 2 weeks are Dec are the 2 busiest weeks of the yr at WDW.
Average rain in dec is 2.31 inches, average temps 73 high, 53 low
Mid-late Oct if also very busy because of Halloween
average rain is 2.73 inches
85high
65low
Best time to avoid crowds is the first week of dec, last 2 weeks of Jan, most of Feb (all except presidents day weekend) first week of may
If you look at the resort rates, the value season is when the least amount of crowds are expected.
June-Sept is the rainiest months

A 6-year-old’s first visit to Disneyland hits some attractions, misses others
You can’t do it all, and truth be told, a child doesn’t miss what she doesn’t know about. A look back at what we saw and did — and didn’t do — in one day. Don’t miss the Toontown roller coaster, somebody said. Don’t bother with Toontown, somebody else said. Don’t risk the Matterhorn with a first-grader, somebody said. Get Extra Time At Walt Disney World With Extra Magic Hours
Walt Disney World vacations don’t come cheap so you will want to spend as much time in the theme parks as you possibly can. If you are staying at a Disney World hotel then on selected days of the week you will be able to enter one of the parks one hour earlier than the general public, or stay up to three hours later than the official park opening hours. This perk is known as Extra Magic Hours and is only available to Disney Resort guests.
To find out the Extra Magic Hours schedule for your Disney vacation simply call Walt Disney World Information on 407-824-4321. Not all attractions are open to guests during the extended hours but you can visit http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/extended-theme-park-hours/ to see which rides and shows are available.
Taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours gives you more time to enjoy the parks when they are less crowded. However, the downside of early entry days is that they attract more Resort guests so that park can actually be busier than on a non-early entry day. To get the most out of the early opening you really need to be at the park entrance 15-20 minutes beforehand; an hour really isn’t that long and if you show up any later you won’t maximise your ‘free’ time in the park. Make the most of the time and visit as many of the headliner attractions as you can before the general public are even allowed through the gate! If you have Park Hopper privileges on your admission ticket you might want to consider hopping to a quieter park when the crowds begin to build. Early opening hours are especially useful if you are travelling during low-season when park hours tend to be shorter overall.
The nighttime version of Extra Magic Hours lasts for up to three hours and more attractions are open during this time than for the early entry option. Certain Quick Service and Table Service restaurants remain open as well. You will need to show your hotel room key (Key to the World) at the entrance to each attraction; this is to prevent off-site visitors being able to enjoy any attractions during this extended period.
