Disneyland California Menus

How much does this Disneyland restaurant charge for a meal?
I was just wondering if anyone went to the Blue Bayou Restaurant near Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland in California recently, and if they could give me an idea of how much their meal cost. I remember catching a glipse of the menu one time and cancelling our reservation because the prices were too steep, but I’m going there on my honeymoon and am willing to splurge on it this time. If you know exactly what the dish you got was called and how much it is, that’d be great. Better yet, if someone that works there or has worked there recently saw this, that’d be ideal. Thanks for any help that can be provided. By the way, I see on Disneyland’s website that it’s “$20-$30 per person”, but I really thought I saw higher prices than that. Plus, I doubt that includes drinks or an appetizer.
A meal at the Blue Bayou will definitely run you about $30 per person, including drinks. But it’s well worth it, especially for such a romantic occasion. Besides the fact that your $30 will buy you the best meal in the entire resort, the Blue Bayou offers the most serene and romantic dining experience in the park, far away from screaming two-year-olds and long lines in the hot sun.
Between us, my girlfriend and I have tried about half of what’s on the menu, and we haven’t been disappointed. My personal favorite is the Cajun-Spiced Salmon ($26.99), a perfectly cooked blackened salmon dish topped with a citrus crawfish beurre blanc. My girlfriend loves the Molasses-Brined Bayou Pork Chop ($25.99), a thick, succulent cut of pork that goes far, far beyond any pork chop you’ve ever had. However, the two most famous dishes are the Five-Pepper Roasted Prime Rib of Beef ($29.99) and Le SpĂ©cial de Monte Cristo, also called the Monte Cristo Sandwich, a fried and battered turkey, ham and Swiss cheese sandwich for $18.99. (The Monte Cristo is only served at lunch.)
Should you decide to take the Blue Bayou plunge, I STRONGLY recommend you make reservations. The Blue Bayou fills up fast, and there’s virtually no chance you can walk in, even on slow days. The number is (714) 781-DINE. Disney takes reservations up to 30 days in advance.
If you or your fiancé have an Annual Passport, you can save 10% on your bill (15% for a Premium Passport). My girlfriend and I each have the Premium pass, and we save a good $10 that way.

Even if you don’t go to the Blue Bayou, Disneyland food tends to be pretty good. Some people will tell you the food there sucks, but they’re probably used to how it was about 15 years ago or earlier. It’s far, far better than the garbage they serve at Magic Mountain, and even costs less.
